Hearty chicken pie …

I remember watching an episode of Nigella Express where she did the most scrummy looking chicken, mushroom & bacon pie recipe, and I really wanted to give it a go. However i hadn’t got half the ingredients and so had to adjust the recipe to suit my limited pantry options. And so a family favourite was born – hearty chicken pie.   Obviously this one is pulled out more often during the autumnal months, but I think the whole family clap their hands with glee when they see it appear on the weekly meal plan. Don’t get me wrong I’m not a doggie hater but hot slobbery Labrador ouders while you’re trying to have […]

The thought of hot porridge churns my stomach, it’s like a bowl of hot stodgy gloop. Yuck! Thankfully this dairy free baked oats recipe is a life saver. Anyway, I was scouring the t’internet looking for some breakfast ideas that wouldn’t take all morning to prepare and looked appetising. I love the community of Instagram for this purpose, because so many people not only share images […]
