Truth time. I have cried about not being able to get out to the coffee shop. Seriously. I then felt guilty for even feeling sad over something so entirely privileged and as some would say unnecessary. BUT when you now find that you are a not only a Working, Side Hustling Boss and Home Maker with a new side of Home Schooler, Snack Provider, Fight Referee and all the other hats that now seem to be piled on our heads, a trip to the coffee shop is incredibly important.

My sons school are doing a bake sale today at lunch time in aid of Children in Need, which I very nearly forgot about! Thankfully I managed to throw together some ingredients together to whip something up. Thank goodness for the marvellous queen of cakes Mary Berry, and her Lemon Drizzle Tray Bake.
I am usually the organised one. I already have my 2019 diary filled in with school holidays, summer holiday, birthdays, anniversaries and the next dental appointments. How this slipped passed the radar is beyond me. Regardless I had

And yet there I am, cemented to the spot, trembling, short of breath like someone’s choking me. In all honest something is choking me and it’s called anxiety.
I am learning that more people secretly suffer in silence with this mental health issue than I ever thought possible. People who look like they have
I love flowers. Phil knows it, my kids know it and so does anyone who follows me on Instagram! My absolute favourite florals are roses, and when Prestige Flowers offered to send me a surprise Mother’s Day bouquet I positively bit their hands off! I mean who doesn’t love getting flowers delivered to their door?
The bouquet I was sent is called Lomond, you can find it over on the Prestige Flowers website along with a stunning range of other Mother’s Day gifts. There’s still time to pick your Mum the
