September …
Half way through September already. How’d that happen? Feels like it was only a few weeks ago I had paid the deposit for our holibobs and yet here we are a couple weeks post jolly and feeling a bit blue.
I hate the post holiday blues, however this year they’ve been quelled slightly by the fact I’ve already booked next years. We’ve not been in a position to do that before and it was great! We’ve booked to go to the Isle of Wight, which my girl is already dubbing it
One to tell the grandkids …
Sometimes making memories isn’t pretty. At the time you feel aghast and dumbfounded, there are literally no words that pass your lips other than “I am so sorry!” When the dust has settled though you are able to laugh and set it aside as ‘one to tell the grandkids’.
At the beginning of this year we were battling red numbers on bank accounts and a seeming never ending bombardment of unexpected bills. My budgeting spreadsheets made me groan out loud as I loaded in our living expenses and my hands frequently
This one was hard to write …
This one post has been written and rewritten more times than I care to count, almost impossibly hard to write. Five years in to our marriage and blending of our two families, we are still laughing, kissing, cuddling and holding hands. We still make each other blush and tummy’s go over when we think of each other. So what have we learned being married
Exhaustion …
The other week was horrendous in more ways than one. The flu, sinusitis and an inner ear infection have left me at the point of utter exhaustion! I’m still dealing with the aftermath a week later.
Waking up more tired than when I went to bed has made this week beyond challenging. I said to my friend, I know God doesn’t send us more than we are capable of dealing with, but sometimes I feel like calling a time out. I need a few minutes to just pause and catch my
Early mornings …
Our boy has been an early riser since he was born. There is no such thing as a lie in with him in the house. Although the morning starts were beginning to get a little too early for us. 5am is not a time for anyone to have to see every day! I had heard a few mentions of the Gro Clock previously and Googled it. I watched reviews and the demo video on YouTube. Hesitant about how a glowing clock would help we decided to bite the bullet and
