My March Essential Rewards Order

My March Essential Rewards Order

I haven’t done one of these posts in a while, but I thought I would share with you what I got this February in my Essential Rewards order from Young Living. I wrote a post a while ago about the benefits of using Essential Rewards which I will link here for you to check out.

I use ER to grab our toiletries and essential oils each month. It doesn’t cost us extra on our budget because we do something called transfer purchase, meaning instead of getting our shampoo or toothpaste from the supermarket, we add it into our ER order instead. It is cost effective. I can swap and change to suit our budget and have it set up to ship towards the end of the month.

This month I didn’t need too much, so just grabbed some essential. so here is what arrived today.

Peace & Calming II essential oil blend. I try and get at least one of these each month. Phil uses just one drop in his diffuser each night to help him go to sleep. He loves it and sulks when I don’t order him one! I also dilute a few drops in a roller to use on the rest of us to help chill us out on busy mind days. The blend contains Tangerine, Orange, Ylang ylang, Patchouli, Northern Lights black spruce, Matricaria, Vetiver, Cistus, Bergamot, Cassia and Davana oil. To me it is incredibly uplifting and light in scent. I use the diluted roller to swipe up the back of my sons neck to help calm his fizziness. It is a must for any Mama out there!

Next up I got some Thieves laundry soap. I have a family of super sensitive bodies! I have tried so many detergents to clean our clothes and I am so please that I have no issues using this laundry soap. It is economical in that you barely need to use any, plus I dilute the bottle in a mason jar drinks dispenser to make it last linger, and it cleans our clothes really well. I love that it is plant-based and free from SLS, dyes, petrochemicals, formaldehyde, phosphates, synthetic perfume, and optical brighteners. If I have some clothes with some stubborn stains I always pre-treat them with Thieves Household Cleaner, so it is a winner winner chicken dinner in this house! I tried looking at how long one bottle actually lasts us and the only time I can see purchasing it was November last year! We do one load a day, which shows me how good a deal this laundry soap is for my pocket let alone the planet too as there is still about a third of that bottle left.

This month I wanted to get some products to help my hair. With the stressful start to the year we have had, my hair has definitely suffered massively. So I got some Copaiba Vanilla moisturising shampoo and some Mirah hair oil. I love the shampoo for how it cleans my hair without completely stripping it like traditional shampoos. I have also noticed a difference on my scalp too, as the shampoos from the supermarket often leave my scalp super sore. Another benefit is not having to wash my hair as often, and I do think that’s because my scalp isn’t having to work as hard to replenish the natural oils. The Mirah hair oil smells amazing, and as my hair is naturally curly, I find an good oil helps smooth and condition my hair. I haven’t tried this one as yet, but I am looking forward to seeing some good results especially when I blow dry my hair!

Lastly, I got a free Thieves Aromabright toothpaste. We love this toothpaste. It isn’t too minty but cleans our teeth so well and doesn’t contain triclosan, which has been linked to antibiotic resistance. Our dentist also approves, as our teeth have never been better, and our check-ups are so much quicker now. This toothpaste is low foam, so ideal for anyone who doesn’t like that frothing up sensation of traditional toothpaste. It cleans super well and knowing I could get a free one this month was such a bonus as it saved me having to order one!

I absolutely love having my Young Living products sorted and sent via my ER order each month. It is one less thing to think about and I just add what I need throughout the month until the order is ready to process. The fact I then also get points back to spend, which I usually save for Young Living Day when I do a click and collect order from HQ, and freebies is always a massive bonus!

I think I will be ordering some Lavender and Thieves in March, but will keep you posted about that. In the meantime if you have any questions, drop them in the comments below or drop me a message over on my social media pages.
